Mortuza Khaled, Ph.D., is a Professor and currently also the Chairman in the Department of History, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He joined this department in January 1990 as a Lecturer and later on he became a Professor in history. After joining this department as a lecturer, he did his Ph.D. from the Rabindra Bharati University, India.
He did Post-Doctoral Research three times.
Working as the Chairman of the Department of History, University of Rajshahi from February 7, 2018. As a Chairman, trying to lead the department in developing and implementing immediate and long-range departmental goals and objectives.
Working as a Professor of History Department, University of Rajshahi from November 18,2003. Applying the scientific method to all disciplines within their field.
On the period of December 28, 1997 to November 17,2003, Worked as an associate professor of the Department of History, University of Rajshahi. He had both research and teaching responsibilities at the university and also serve on committees.
Dr. Mortuza Khaled frequently present his findings at conferences and had his work published in journals.
Tried to improve self knowledge and deliver it to the beloved students when he was an assistant professor. Assisting with various departmental duties and providing academic support to Professors and other staff was one of the most important task of Dr. Khaled on that period.
Started working as a Lecturer of Department of History, University of Rajshahi with a view to providing knowledge and learning knowledge. The main chalenge was to adapt with the education and research environment. He succesfully completed his all responsibilities.
He got his PhD from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, India. He studied very well in his research.
He got his Master’s Degree from Rajshahi University, Bangladesh. Rajshahi University is one of the best university in Bangladesh. He was very responsible in his student life.
He studied B.A (Hons) in History at Rajshahi University. He got his bachelor degree with a very satisfactory result.
Conducting Post-Doctoral Research on “Economic Aspect of the Fourth Republic of South Korea (1972-1978) : A Study of Park Chung Hee Model,” in the Academy of Korean Studies, Seoul, Korea.
Conducting Post-Doctoral research under a Korea Foundation Fellowship on Korea, “Park Chung Hee’s Policy of Industrialization and its Lessons for Developing Nations: A Critical Analysis” at the Asiatic Research Center, Korea University, Seoul, Korea.
Post-Doctoral research on “Nature of Asian Feudal Lords: A Comparative Study of Korean Yangbans and Indian Zaminders,” in the Academy of Korean Studies, Seoul, Korea.
